Di Fara Pizza has multiple locations in Brooklyn. The second location is on 103 N 3rd St, Brooklyn, NY 11249. Di Fara boasts of being the best pizza spot, not only in Brooklyn but in the whole of New York.
Di Fara is an old pizzeria that was built in 1965 by Domenico De Marco. He went by the name Dom. Dom was an Italian immigrant with a passion for making the best pizza ever existed. Pizza is his friend.
Today, more than 50 years later, his dream still stands. This legendary pizza spot still serves us fresh pizza. Di Fara imports all its ingredients from Italy. This means whatever you are served is authentic Italian pizzas.
The ingredients they use to make the pizza are prepared keenly, using hands that have years of experience. At 82 years, Dom still works at his pizzeria to ensure Brooklynites receive quality pizza. He works hand in hand with his family.
Dom sells his pizzas per slice (square slice). What most guests prefer is the regular IMO, but the square Sicilian pizzas are so good too. Di Fara allows you to customize your pizza.
You can order a Basic pizza. This is one with only mozzarella cheese and their tangy but sweet tomato sauce. Then choose from a range of toppings like broccoli, prosciutto, soppressata, mushrooms, etc.
Di Fara has collaborated with Goldfish. Therefore you can make an order for your pizza via Goldfish from anywhere in the United states.
If you are on 3rd street, you can order your pizza by calling 929-294-9464. This is the number to their Williamsburg location.
Di Fara also caters for events and parties despite the nature of the party.
The pizza in Di Fara is magical. Get into the car and turn on the ignition. The drive to Brooklyn is going to be worth it.
Location: 563 Lincoln Place Crown Heights, NY 11238
This spot serves fantastic Brooklyn-style pizza, which is made with the legendary new york tap water. The pizza here is excellent, and no one can match the freshness.
They make the pizza with natural sourdough, non-bromated, and unbleached flour.
Crown Height pizza is a newbie since it only opened in 2020. Therefore if you are looking for a breath of fresh air, a feeling of newness, then there is no other place for you but this.
They serve different flavors of pizza—the pizza range between $19 to $27. There is the regular pie that is the cheapest but still delicious.
There is Margherita, Sicilian, vegetable, bacon, chicken ranch pies, etc. If you want to go the extra mile and be adventurous, try their vodka pie.
The signature pizza at Crown Height is the mushroom pizza. It consists of white wine, Cream sauce, and Lemon Zest. Talk of the taste of heaven.
They also serve irresistible grandma square pies. The pizza consists of classic mozzarella cheese, and the sourdough crust that has been made with so much love and expertise is crunchy but still soft. To top it all is the layer of their sweet tomato sauce.
They also allow you to add your favorite toppings from a list of toppings. Therefore you can go as crazy as you want. There are meaty toppings like sausage, bacon, and pepperoni and vegetable options like bananas, pineapples, onions, and broccoli.
Not only is the pizza amazing, but the service is also excellent. The staff members are friendly, and the customer service is excellent. They make a perfect highlight of your day after a long day at work.
Crown Height allows for delivery and takeout. You can call the above number to make your order. You can also order via slice. However, due to the pandemic, they neither allow outdoor nor indoor dining.
Location: 338 Hamilton Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11231
Pizza Moto serves pizza that tastes so good. But this is not the only thing that makes this restaurant special. The story of how it came to be is also unique and historical.
Pizza Moto started as a mobile pizzeria for eight years, where they served Brooklynites delicious charred pizza. After a lot of research in the best place to settle for a permanent location, they settled for Hamilton Avenue.
Pizza Moto is owned by Dave Sclarow(chef) and Anna Viertel(manager). Together, they found a coal oven that must have been over a century old hidden behind a wall in a store on Hamilton Avenue.
With further research, they discovered that this oven was owned by an Irish immigrant baker, who had his establishment there in the mid-1800s. Later, He passed the oven to different individuals before lying dormant behind Papa John’s establishment for decades.
When they discovered the oven, they restored it to its glory and fitted it to fire with wood instead of coal.
Pizza Moto restaurant is built around this historical oven which influenced even the decor of the spot. I do not know about you, but eating pizza with a rich history is more delicious and filling. Pizza Moto is a destination worth considering.
The menu is designed carefully to show the oven’s rebirth, which is the center of Pizza Moto’s work. The restaurant’s signature dish is Neapolitan pizza.
It also serves other American dishes that have international influence. The food here tells a story about the owners’ backgrounds and travels and Scarlow’s expertise and experience working in significant kitchens like Franny’s.
With Pizza Moto, you can now pick up and order deliveries from Wednesday to Sunday from 1.00 pm to 9.00 pm. Pizza Moto closes on Thursday and Friday.
Unlike others, you can have your party catered food by Pizza Moto. They throw birthday parties, office parties, or any pizza parties you might have in mind.

Ever heard the saying,”Want a great NY slice? Go to Tony’s”? Well, now you have. You have not tasted true heaven if you have not tasted a slice of pizza at Tony’s Pizzeria and restaurant.
Today, the pizza quality keeps deteriorating in many pizza places. However, Tony’s Pizzeria still gets it.
Tony gives the old-school kind of vibes. It is laid back and chilled. The kind of place you want to eat dinner (slices of thin, crispy, and flavourful new york slices) with your family.
The staff is hospitable and friendly as they have always been for several decades now. This makes you feel like part of something bigger, a larger family.
The pizza has a specific, distinct taste that you spend years looking for. Being a big meat eater, it is a wonder, even to me, how I enjoy their regular cheese only slice. They also serve Sicilian pizza, which comes at an affordable price.
Tony’s currently offers indoor dining, but the seats are limited due to Covid; therefore, you have to come early. They also offer sit-down dining. They open every day from 9.00 am to midnight. You can have your pizza delivered by giving them a call.
With Tony’s, it is never just the pizza. It is an experience.

If you have never eaten Sicilian pizza at L&B Spumoni Gardens, then you have no idea how a Sicilian pizza should taste like. They serve their Sicilian pizza with lots of cheese and sauce that strikes a perfect balance between the toppings, sauce, cheese, and the thick crust.
When you get to Brooklyn and ask a local the best spot for Sicilian pizza, they will mention this spot.
L&B is one of the few pizzerias that have maintained consistency more than 80 years into the business. The father of this spot, Ludovico Barbati, loved to make pizza.
Many said he spoke his heart out through pizzas. He believed in pizza making and decided to share it hence opened the spot.
Since then, L&B has stuck to its dreams. The pizza cooked here is cooked with purity and passion. There is no day in the 82 years life of L&B have they frozen their dough, pizza, or ingredients. The pizza here is fresh just the way our American taste glands like it.
The crust is soft, crispy, airy, and doughy. It is soft to the palette despite the thickness. Then there is the generous red sweet but tangy tomato sauce that is put together with loads of cheese.
The pizza here is so dreamy. You can order the whole tray or by the square. Since the pizzas are humongous, if you are alone, then you better buy by the square slices.
You can ask for different toppings, which will be charged per topping. I love this part the most since I can be as experimental as I want and go as crazy as I should. Do not be afraid; no one will judge you.
Word is out that L&B will soon have another location in Dumbo, 46 old Fulton St, Brooklyn. We cannot wait to see what this new place will have to offer.
You can make reservations for your indoor dining. This you can do via their website or make a call. Since this spot is on-demand, they advise you to wait for their call to confirm whether the table is available or not. This you can do any day from 11.00 am to 12.00 am.
If you are not available to dine with L&B, you can order your pizza through apps and sites like Uber eats, PostMates and GRUBHUB.

When I think of Roberta’s, I remember the saying, “Never judge a book by its cover.” The outside of Roberta’s does not lie much.
However, when you get inside, you start feeling the backyard vibe. The communal tables and simplicity in the beautiful decor charms you so much that you are almost convinced it makes the pizza taste even better.
Roberta’s has stood for ten years and still keeps soaring. When it started, it was love at first sight. Brooklynites fell in love with the pies, and Roberta’s has quickly grown to occupy the first row amongst pizza giants.
The pizzas are of another world, with the toppings prepared well and are unique. The menu is vast, with unique pizza flavors served. The pizza flavors have exciting names like Cheesus Christ and Famous Original. These two are my most favorite flavors.
Cheesus Christ is a cream pizza with a mozzarella layer, Parmigiano Reggiano, that is peppered with black pepper and taleggio.
Famous Original have oregano, Parmigiano Reggiano, chili, caciocavallo, and mozzarella.
Roberta’s provides both indoor and outdoor dining. They unlock their doors from 11 am to 10 pm every day of the week. To make reservations, you can call them or do it online via their website.
If you want their frozen pizza to heat up at home, then they have you covered. If you are not in New York, do not fret, you can still order yours via Goldbely and enjoy Roberta’s pizza, thousands of miles away.

This is a pizza place that gives you the complete freedom to decide what you will eat. Toppings are put on a rotating deck, and you get to pick what you want on your plain pizza.
This means not only will you enjoy a delicious pizza, but you also will not have to endure someone else’s idea of how your pizza should taste.
Today, Lucali is rated the best restaurant and pizza place in the whole of New York. Lucali is a high-end spot that hosts celebrities like Beyonce and JayZ.
This makes it relatively inaccessible and might not be surprising that some people have never heard of it, yet it is one of the best Brooklyn spots.
What I love most about the menu here is its preciseness and simplicity. They serve both large and small pies. They make these beautiful pies in a wood-fired oven.
As is with most fancy places, Lucali does not take reservations. You have to wait. Come early (as early as 5) as the line quickly gets too long and place your order.
Then you can have a drink as you wait. Be prepared to wait for more than an hour. However, the wait is worth it. The amazingness that is Lucali pizza can never be forgotten.
Lucali recently launched takeout options because of the epidemic. Therefore from 1 pm, you can start to make your orders. Getting in is also easier now compared to before. Additionally, it is BYOB. Awesome!

There is something nice about a short, simple menu. It almost guarantees that the dish served will be magnificent, which is the case with Pauline Gee’s. At this spot, you will eat the most memorable pizza of your life.
There is a varied range of unique flavors on the menu that are affordable. Sensitively, Pauline Gee’s has something for everyone.
If you are a vegan, there are so many options, including the all-time favorite Vegan Freddy Prinze. This flavor has been praised by many.
It boasts a fair amount of tomato sauce, vegan mozzarella, vega pram, vegan sausage, and sesame seeds.
If your pizza is no pizza without meat, then they have several options for you. Everything is delicious, but nothing is delicious like the Hellboy.
This flavor has almost all the toppings available at Pauline Gee’s, plus a layer of sesame seeds at the bottom. Delish!
Currently, you can order pizza to be delivered at your location or have takeout. They usually have indoor dining, but this is not possible at the moment.
However, they have a walkup carry-out window from where you can order and pick your food.
They open every day from midday to 9 pm except for Friday and Saturday when they close at 11 pm.
Different spots in Brooklyn offer different pizza styles, with a few offering several pizza styles at their locations.
Above is the perfect guide to get you started on your pizza tour in Brooklyn if you are a tourist. If you can, try them all, as each exclusive spot offers a unique experience that you will never forget.
