This hot dog pizza is one of my most favorite styles of decadent and delicious pizza. It makes the most versatile choice of pizza, where you get to choose the toppings for pizza.

Cooking Tips

Ingredients
  

Pizza Crust

  • 120 g high-gluten flour In this case, you can use the pizza flour, the all-purpose flour, or sometimes even the bread flour.
  • 72 ml water
  • 2 g yeast
  • 2 g salt
  • 4 g sugar
  • 10 ml olive oil

 Pizza Toppings:

  • 2 shiitake mushrooms
  • 2 large slices of bacon
  • 4 thin hot dog
  • Pizza Sauce
  • Mozzarella (pre-shredded or sliced fresh whole mozzarella)

Instructions
 

  • Take your clean bowl and set in your dough ingredients that include the high gluten flour, water, yeast, sugar, salt, and olive oil. If you aren't using a machine, this is the time to start mixing it gently. But of course, when you have a stand machine, then you need to use the dough hook to use in the mixing process.
  • Next, then you should start to knead the dough. Keep on kneading the dough until the surface of the dough is smooth and elastic. It will be effortless to know when the dough is ready as it stops to stick on your hands.
  • Allow the dough to rise. Always allow the dough to rise and allow it to double in size. This can take anything from 45-60 minutes. Remember, some people like to let the dough rest for up to 24 hours, which is just as good. The more time you let it rest for, the more it matures and even develops more in flavors.
  • Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius
  • Sprinkle some flour on the chopping board, take out the raised dough to breathe a little before you begin working on it. Finally, start to roll it into a crust that is a circle more significant than the pizza pan.
