Homemade Pizza Sauce; the best quick fix for a unique pizza

  • 600 grams tomatoes
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 30 grams butter
  • 100 grams onion
  • 6 grams of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon of basilĀ 
  • 1 tablespoon sugar


  • Start by blanching the tomatoes and then remove the outer skin. After that then you can dice them into cubes and then set it all aside.
  • Set another pan on the stovetop, and then add the butter and olive oil. When it's all melted, add the onions and garlic. Stir fry it under the highest heat.
  • Next, then add the diced tomatoes and keep stirring under high heat to cook. For a minute or two, add the remaining seasoning, which includes oregano basil and black pepper. Let it keep cooking.
  • Go on to add the salt and then add the sugar to the sauce.
  • Let it then simmer slowly and thus let it cook for about 30 minutes. Keep cooking it until you have the thick sauce.
