Homemade Pizza Sauce; the best quick fix for a unique pizza
Nothing beats the flavorful, easy-to-make, versatile, delicious pizza sauce you make at home.
- 600 grams tomatoes
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 30 grams butter
- 100 grams onion
- 6 grams of salt
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon of oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon of basil
- 1 tablespoon sugar
Start by blanching the tomatoes and then remove the outer skin. After that then you can dice them into cubes and then set it all aside.
Set another pan on the stovetop, and then add the butter and olive oil. When it's all melted, add the onions and garlic. Stir fry it under the highest heat.
Next, then add the diced tomatoes and keep stirring under high heat to cook. For a minute or two, add the remaining seasoning, which includes oregano basil and black pepper. Let it keep cooking.
Go on to add the salt and then add the sugar to the sauce.
Let it then simmer slowly and thus let it cook for about 30 minutes. Keep cooking it until you have the thick sauce.
